OVERVIEW
Incel, involuntary celibate, culture has expanded from small pockets of dateless men upset about not attracting women sexually to raging entitled men united on through their hatred for women especially those who are sexually active or they deem owe them sex. They blame their sexless lives on women through a combination of misogyny and eugenics. This leads to increased violence towards women, making groups more susceptible to that aggression more vulnerable, particularly Asian women.
OBJECTIVE
Collaborate with the National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum (NAPAWF) to create an informative campaign on the harmful Incels culture to combat violence against women, particularly Asian women, for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
SOLUTION
Create a campaign with three media channels that not only inform women but goes further and provide them with tools to protect themselves from these purpetraitors.

Takeaways
Posters
The Red Flag Campaign wants people to detect the patterns and language used by these violent men, some of whom have become so radicalized they end up becoming mass shooters. In these posters, viewers are first taken by the representation of a women's body only that is violated by a gunshot wound where the head would usually be placed. Underneath is a quote by the murderer that juxtaposes his violence with his harmful rhetoric.
Red Flag Microsite
To help women continue to avoid unsafe men, we developed the Red Flag Detector microsite. This site lets people insert a person's social media handle and develop a cohesive data chart of any man's red flags. Are they banned from any dating apps due to harassment? Do they follow radical accounts? Have they commented hate speech? All this information will be gathered to protect women from men before meeting with them so they can avoid any violent or harmful interactions.
AAPI Month Pop-Up
NAPAWF wants to continue to bring awareness and focus on women's safety, therefore they will be launching a "Red Flag Awareness" pop-up in Chinatown where they will give out free branded self-defense weapons to women.
