OVERVIEW
Six Flags was made for people to take a break from their mundane lives and enjoy a day of thrills at an affordable price. Offering everything from rides, water parks, food, and games.
OBJECTIVE
Six Flags’ overall look and feel are outdated and and overly complicated. The update changes their brand image to better reach their target audience and reflect their products and services accurately. Therefore redesigning Six Flags to be simple and effective just like their mission.
REDESIGN
Six Flags logo is overly complicated so we stripped it down to the basics but kept it fun and fresh for its theme park setting.
Positioning Statement
We are for the thrill seekers, risk takers, and fun lovers. Six Flags are for the people. Liberating everyone from their mundane life to experience epic thrills.

Gibson was chosen for its bold and sharp look. It is also a font with great legibility, which is imperative for a brand like Six Flags, requiring visitors to use their branding for wayfinding around the park.
